Welcome to Acres School of Motoring. By booking or attending lessons with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all services provided by Acres School of Motoring ("we", "our", or "us"). By booking a lesson, you ("the student") agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Driving Lessons

Lessons are provided on a one-to-one basis in a dual-controlled car.

Lessons will last for the agreed duration, typically 1 or 2 hours.
It is your responsibility to ensure you bring your valid driving licence to each lesson.
If you fail to bring your licence, the lesson may be cancelled, and a refund will not be provided.

3. Payments and Fees

All lesson fees must be paid in advance or at the start of the lesson unless otherwise agreed.
Payment can be made via cash, bank transfer, or any other agreed method.
Package deals and block bookings must be paid for in full at the time of booking.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice or fail to attend, the full lesson fee will be charged.
In the event we need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, we will provide as much notice as possible, and no cancellation fee will be charged.

5. Fitness to Drive

You must be fit to drive during your lesson, including being free from the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any medication that may impair your ability to drive.
If we believe you are unfit to drive, the lesson will be terminated, and the full fee will be charged.

6. Practical Driving Tests

We will advise you when you are ready to book your practical driving test.
Use of our car for the test is subject to availability and must be agreed upon in advance.
A minimum of 2 hours' lesson fee will be charged for the test day, which includes a pre-test warm-up and use of the car for the test.

7. Liability

We are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from a lesson or driving test unless it is caused by our negligence.
We are not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by external factors such as weather, road conditions, or test centre operations.

8. Complaints

If you have a complaint about our services, please contact us as soon as possible. We will investigate your complaint and aim to resolve it promptly.

9. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By booking a lesson, you agree to the collection and use of your data as outlined in that policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and where appropriate, we will notify you by email. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
